2. Gather
We need to know all about Participants’ Wishes and Needs for their Housing, including locations, ideal living arrangements, optimal formal and informal care
arrangements, ideal housing types, optimal designs and inclusions (including assistive technologies). We also need to know Participants’ past Housing Histories and what has worked and what could be improved.
3. Liaise
We Liaise and collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Service Providers. We guide them through the elements and language of the SDA Rules to optimize the effectiveness of their reports. We can recommend OT's well versed in SDA and who can work remotely and we will also happily work with Participants’ OT’s.
6. Assess
In several places the SDA Rules require that we make the case for Value for Money of any SDA outcome. We assess in particular value for money as it relates to the available SDA outcomes and we also cite the results of academic studies in general as to the positive effects that suitable location, design and amenity have on future costs generally.
